Our Commitment To Excellence

Curriculum at Abhyasa Public School is well designed to promote holistic, i.e. physical, social and intellectual development, as well as equip each child with the knowledge and problem-solving skills needed to excel in the competitive exams later, right from the foundation level. We have structured our curriculum and pedagogy in a new 5+3+3+4 structure and as envisioned in the National Education policy.

Curriculum Integration of essential subjects, skills and capacities is an add-on. We have introduced ‘Robotics’ and ‘Financial Literacy’ as a vocational subject from Grade 1, and a foreign language from Grade 5.

Holistic Development

Extracurricular activities offer a platform for students to discover their passions, hone their talents, and pursue personal goals. They provide a well-rounded education by complementing academic learning with real-world experiences and practical skills.

Some of our most popular extra-curricular activities are: Reading Club, Sports & Games, Yoga & Meditation, Art & Craft, Speech & Drama, Music & Dance, Urban soil, Events & Celebrations

Clubs

The reading habit is something that needs to be developed from an early age. To aid to this, we have set up well-stocked reading books in the library. Children are encouraged to read and share what they have learned and share their thoughts & insights with their friends and teachers

Sports & Games

We all know that Sports are important for students because they help develop physical and mental fitness, build self-confidence, and teach values like discipline and ethics. The school has a huge dedicated area specially for sports and has developed the ground for multiple games like football, basketball, kabbadi / Khokho, skating, and a running track. These sports & games classes including indoor games like Chess, are inculcated into the schedule to get children into the habit of exercising and staying fit.

Yoga & Meditation

Regular practice of yoga enhances concentration and focus. The combination of physical postures, controlled breathing, and mindfulness techniques helps students develop better attention spans, leading to improved academic performance and productivity. Our students right from Pre-primary level will be experiencing mindfulness and performing the asanas regularly as a part of the curriculum.

Art & Craft

Art indeed is therapeutic and help children develop a variety of skills, including creativity, self-expression, and fine motor skills. They also help children develop a sense of self-esteem and self-worth. Our teachers at Abhyasa help kids lend colour to their dreams, and our students reward us with some unique masterpieces indeed!

Speech & Drama

Through dramatic play, children learn to express themselves, understand different perspectives, and build crucial social skills like cooperation, sharing, and problem-solving

Music & Dance

help with physical and mental development, as well as social and emotional skills. Whether it is classical or contemporary, our music and dance classes offer an excellent opportunity for children to learn different dance forms and music.

Urban Soil

Our programs are developed not only to promote student success in the classroom, but far beyond it. As a part of this project, students are educated about dignity of labor besides making them equipped with identifying the seeds, plants and the vegetables.
